About US

Guma' I Toru (Home of the Bulls)

We don’t follow the traditional path — we create our own. Whether our students dream of college, careers in technology, business, aviation, entrepreneurship, or beyond, BTACS provides the tools to turn aspirations into reality, grounded in strong Chamoru values and a commitment to community. Here, success has no limits.

Our Campus

The Business and Technology Academy Charter School (BTACS) is located in Barrigada, Guam, on the former San Vicente School campus. Barrigada is a residential and suburban community, centrally located on the island and characterized by a mix of family neighborhoods and small businesses. The school serves a diverse socio-economic and ethnic population reflective of Guam’s multicultural identity, including CHamoru, Filipino, Micronesian, and other Pacific Islander communities.

The Ultimate Goal

“Our goal is to be one of the premier secondary institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. And we will achieve that goal soon.”

– Dylan Sablan, Principal

Our Vision

Empowering Guam’s youth to redefine success through innovative education that bridges cultural heritage with global opportunities.

Our Mission

We are shaping a generation of bold, innovative leaders who transform communities and forge their own futures.

Rooted in Culture, Ready for the World

We believe that a strong foundation begins with knowing who you are and where you come from. Our students are grounded in the rich cultural heritage of our island community while gaining the skills, knowledge, and global perspective needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. By blending tradition with innovation, we prepare confident leaders who honor their roots, embrace diversity, and are equipped to succeed in college, careers, and beyond. With this global mindset at the heart of who we are, every BTACS student is encouraged to keep an updated passport—because the world is not just something we study, it is something we explore.

BTACS students have already taken a trip to Saipan, CNMI and there are plans for the senior class to visit Japan in April 2026.
